What Is CoolSculpting Fat Freezing?
CoolSculpting uses cryolipolysis, a process that chills fat cells to the point where they break down while leaving the skin, nerves and muscle above them unharmed. Fat cells are more vulnerable to cold than surrounding tissue, which is what makes the treatment selective.
An applicator draws the target area into a cooling cup and holds it at a set temperature. Over the following weeks your lymphatic system clears the damaged cells naturally. Because those cells are removed rather than shrunk, the change holds as long as your weight stays stable.
