A non-surgical facelift treatment uses High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) to stimulate the deep structural support layers of the skin. This creates lift by stimulating new collagen and elastin formation. This not only improves the texture and surface of the skin but can lift and tighten unwanted sagging areas on the face and neck.

 

The skin tightening and rejuvenation treatment creates more pronounced contour on the face and improves the jawline. Hifu technology works by penetrating the skin to different depths and layers – the epidermis, dermis, and superficial muscular layer. High intensity focused ultrasound shots are penetrated into the superficial muscular layer and heat is created – this is very controlled heat, just enough to stimulate collagen creation and encourage the muscles to contract and regrow.

 

This process tightens the skin with a lifting effect and reduces the signs of ageing – much of the signs of ageing are caused through collagen depletion, through sun damage, pollution, stress and everyday wear and tear. The Hifu face lifting procedure is virtually pain free – there is a slight prickling sensation, as the applicator delivers high intensity focused ultrasound over the areas to be treated. Your skin will be slightly red afterwards and you may experience very minor swelling, but this will be back to normal within hours. After the procedure, you simply leave and go about your day.

The youthful appearance will last for at least 6 months, depending which area you are treating. Results can last up to 2 years, depending on lifestyle factors and how you look after your skin.
